From the first meeting, Belgarum were approachable, professional (without being stuffy) and helpful. They made the whole process of selling a house at distance easy. Despite it being a challenging market with government announcements paralysing house sales, Belgarum kept their cool, held my hand and, once we had an offer ensured it moved as smoothly and speedily as possible.

John runs a highly efficient team, all of whom were also fabulous at their jobs (special mention also goes to Vicky Childs). To a person they were enthusiastic about the property and that, I believe, helped sell it.

The Belgarum Winchester team have been truly excellent during the sale of our home which just completed. This has been a tough year undoubtedly in the UK market to sell houses; nevertheless the team were always friendly, efficient and professional, as well as being clear and transparent in their communications. I appreciated their honesty throughout, and as a customer I felt the whole team knew about the status of the sale. It's hard to nominate just a single team member as they have all been so thoroughly professional.

Alex was our initial contact, she came to visit our home, we had several honest conversations over the following months about sale price, especially given the market, and eventually sold to an excellent buyer. From my initial contact five years or so ago I was met with nothing but welcome, kindness and simplicity in procedures at every step. Andrea Williamson took over management of properties a year or so later and the theme of helpfulness and consideration has continued to develop and grow. Any enquiry about faulty equipment is met with a speedy response and prompt arrival of incredibly skilled craftsmen and services technicians. I warmly recommend Belgarum to anyone who might enquire.
I had the misfortune of being messed about previously by a different, successful looking agent and valued (couldn’t believe) the difference.

We have been looking to find the right house in Winchester for several years now and we're delighted to find this period property being sold through Belgarum. We viewed as soon as it came onto the market and we're impressed from the start with the helpful and professional approach taken by the Belgarum team.

Once we had agreed the terms of the purchase and the buying process was underway we were extremely impressed with the level of communication, responsiveness and professionalism shown by the Belgarum team and in particular, Seanne Stewart in dealing with and resolving issues that arose (as they typically do in the legal and survey side of things). Although we were not the client as such, Belgarum certainly acted well in their clients best interests in ensuring that the selling process was as smooth as could be for all parties.

We hope to be at the house for many years, but should we come to sell then Belgarum will certainly be top of our list of local agents to instruct!
