What went well:
Our overall experience with the agency was genuinely excellent. Communication throughout the process was clear, supportive, and reassuring, and we felt well looked after during the lead‑up to the move. We were grateful for the professionalism and the help provided while preparing for such a big relocation.
What was difficult:
We were moving from Kent to Devon with a child who has additional needs, which meant our journey was long and required several stops. Because of this, I asked if it would be possible to collect the keys a few days before the move, but was told this wasn’t an option. I then asked whether someone could meet us at the property on the day, given the distance we were travelling, but again we were told we had to come to the office. This added around 40 minutes to an already demanding journey due to traffic msking our commute 7hours, and made the move day far more exhausting than it needed to be.
I completely understand that agencies have processes, but in situations involving long‑distance moves or families with additional needs, a little flexibility can make a huge difference. Offering reasonable adjustments where possible would make the experience even more supportive for future customers.
